Our Mission
Developing cultural awareness, promoting a world where Black Heroes are acknowledged, respected and celebrated.
The Black Heroes Foundation brings joy, using the Arts to tell the stories of Black Heroes. It is a community based charity for the development and promotion of talent, together with cultural and artistic initiatives in the community. It is intergenerational, working with youth and elders. Holding events which are educational, entertaining and empowering. Providing inspiration and self-knowledge whilst improving health and well-being.
The advancement of education of the public in general, on the subject of Black Heroes and their achievements, through the development and provision of educational resources together with supporting the production of community events, theatrical shows and performances:
- To stimulate, motivate and inspire,
- To promote pride through cultural awareness,
- To educate, entertain, improve health & well-being,
- To eradicate ignorance of Black heritage,
- To encourage better understanding and further enhance our multi-cultural society.
