The Black Heroes Soul Food Cafe

The Black Heroes Soul Food Café™ provides a creative space for inclusive artistic expression celebrating Black Heroes and exploring the historical and contemporary presence of Black Britons in the community.

These gatherings facilitate cultural enquiry whilst celebrating the significant contributions to humanity by peoples of Africa and the African diaspora.

The home of the Black Heroes Soul Food Cafe is the Leilani Restaurant on Lavender Hill, with support from the Wandsworth Grant Fund, it was held here on the last Thursday of every month for a year in 2017/18.

BOOK A BLACK HEROES FOUNDATION EVENT FOR YOUR ORGANISATION

We deliver special events at your premises or digitally as required. It can be an interactive event telling the stories of, and celebrating Black Heroes. This can be from the screening of one of our films, performance of a play, through to delivery of speeches and workshops. We help schools, universities, and corporate organisations to engage with diversity.

Your Support

The Foundation is dependent upon support from the community, businesses and government bodies. Please support this great cause in order to help fulfil Flip Fraser’s dream, and preserve his legacy created from the internationally acclaimed show “Black Heroes in the Hall of Fame”.
