Celebrate a Legacy and Support the Arts: A Tribute to Flip Fraser

Join us on Wednesday, 19th June, for a heartfelt celebration of Flip Fraser, the visionary behind ‘Black Heroes in the Hall of Fame’. We are gathering to honour a decade since his passing and to fundraise for an extraordinary play this October, dedicated to his memory.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Flip Fraser’s passing—an influential figure remembered as the brilliant creator of ‘Black Heroes in the Hall of Fame’. His legacy continues to inspire.

On 25th October, the Black Heroes Foundation will present ‘The Story of Flip Fraser: A Windrush Story’ at The Shaw Theatre, London. This play, written by Flip’s widow, Joyce, narrates the captivating journey of Flip’s early days in Jamaica to his influential role in London where he moved aged 16 and eventually became the pioneering editor of The Voice newspaper and the creator of ‘Black Heroes in the Hall of Fame’, encapsulating 5,000 years of Black History in a single night of theatre.

Your support is crucial for us to bring this production to life.

Our special Black Heroes® Soul Food Cafe on Wednesday, 19th June is a perfect opportunity to celebrate Flip’s remarkable life and contribute towards the staging of the October production.

You can buy your tickets here and make donations to help us continue Flip’s legacy. Every contribution brings us closer to sharing his story with a new generation.

Your presence and support can make all the difference. Join us and be a part of history.

Come and join us for a night of entertainment, education and empowerment, featuring music, dance, spoken word and an open mic.
